Francisco Gordillo

Francisco Gordillo is professor at the Technical College of Engineering, Department of Systems and Automatic Engineering, Universidad de Sevilla, Spain. The aim of his visit is to continue the collaboration with Prof. Anton Shiriaev, currently professor at the Department of Engineering Cybernetics, Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Prof. Gordillo and Prof. Shiriaev have held a collaboration for the past 4 years, which have yielded several published papers. About his work: "In my one-week visit the following objectives are planned: Experimental evaluation of the control laws obtained previously. Interchange of ideas looking for new lines of continuation of the previous work and/or starting of new lines of research. In particular the following field of research will be considered: Motion Planning in helicopters. Prof. Shiriaev has experience in motion planning in robotics while I have experience in control of helicopters and an experimental setup is available at his department."
