Application for bachelor degrees - Preinscripción a Grado

Deadlines: ORDINARY ADMISSION PERIOD-FIRST CALL (JUNE):
  • From 5th to 26th June 2026: Applicants with EvAU (university entrance examination), vocational training studies or equivalent qualifications, and graduates.
  • International students (EU and non-EU): from 5th of June to 6th of July 2026.
  • Applicants for bachelor's degrees with specific entrance exams

 

EXTRAORDINARY ADMISSION PERIOD-SECOND CALL (JULY)

  • From 20th to 24th of July 2026
  • ONLY for bachelor's degrees with available places
Where to apply:
  • The procedure must be completed online (see Remarks below).
  • Online application for mature students over 25, 40 and 45. (Groups 3,4,5)
  • The required documents must be uploaded.
Once the online application has been completed, you will receive an email with further instructions. The process is not completed until all supporting documents have been submitted.
Supporting Documentation:
GENERAL DOCUMENTS (all applicants):
  • The application form must be completed by the applicant.
  • DNI, NIE or passport
Specific documents (depending on the admission group)
  • Students with PAU/EVAU in Spain: card and/or the specific/voluntary phase card. (For the 2026/27 application process, the specific phase passed in 2023/24, 2024/25 and 2025/26 will be valid)
  • EU international students / countries with a bilateral agreement /International baccalaureate:
    • Verification of requirements for admission to Spanish universities issued by UNEDasiss.
    • Admission scores and/or recognition of courses issued by UNEDasiss (except China, the UK and Colombia)
    • Accreditation/Verification of Spanish language level (B2 required) which may be verified by UNEDasiss or through other officially recognised certificates.
  • Non-EU international students:
    • Accreditation/recognition of their school leaving certificate by the Spanish Ministry of Education.
    • Admission scores issued by UNEDasiss.
    • Accreditation of the Bachillerato modality: PCE´s exams must be taken through the UNEDasiss
    • Verification of Spanish language level (B2 required) which may be verified by UNEDasiss or through other officially recognised certificates. 
  • Non-EU students who do not take the university entrance exams (PCE´s) but have the requirements, can apply for admission in a last call in September for those undergraduate degrees in which there are still places available after the two ordinary and extraordinary calls (Group 6):
    • Accreditation/recognition of the school leaving certificate to the Spanish "título de bachiller" by the Spanish Ministry (applications in process will not be accepted).
    • Copy of ID document 
    • Verification of their Spanish language level (B2 required) which may be verified by UNEDasiss or through other officially recognised certificates.
    • Priority is given to applicants who have taken the PCE exams. Places will only be awarded if vacancies remain after the ordinary and extraordinary admission periods. Most bachelor’s degrees do not have places available in the extraordinary call (July).
  • Graduates: 
    • Foreign degrees must be officially recognised (homologated) by the Spanish Ministry of Education.
    • Official academic transcript.
  • Mature students over 25, 40 and 45: certification of the obtained grades in the entrance exam.
 
Results and Claims:

Ordinary Admission Period-First call (June):

  • Pre-enrolment:
      • General Admission: 5th to 26th of June 2026.
      • International Students: 5th of June (9:00 a.m) to 6th of July 2026 (till 14:00), Spanish hours.
  • Admitted students list: 10th July 2026
  • Claims: 10th, 13th and 14th July 2026
  • Waiting List: 13th, 14th and 15th July 2026

Extraordinary Admission Period-Second call (July):

  • Pre-enrolment: 20th to 24th of July 2026
  • Admitted students list: 3th September 2026
  • Claims: 3th and 4th September 2026
  • Waiting List: 3th and 4th of September 2026

Results will be notified by email to each participant.
Applicants may check the results on the UCM webpage. 
Admitted students will be able to download the admissions letter through "consulta de resultados", where the activation code will be provided.

Claims must be submitted at the University offering the selected degree, either by post or in person.

Procedure for the waiting lists
Remarks:
  • Public Universities in Madrid (Universidad de Alcalá, Universidad Autónoma, Universidad Carlos III, Universidad Complutense, Universidad Politécnica and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos) form a single university district. Therefore, only one application must be submitted, listing up to 12 degree options in order of preference.
  • For the application process 2026/27 (both ordinary and extraordinary calls) the specific stage passed at 2023/24, 2024/25 and 2025/26 will be valid.
