Steps to the admission process at Complutense University
(Spanish)

THE ORDINARY ADMISSION PROCESS FOR INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMS TAKES PLACE IN JUNE AND THE FIRST DAYS OF JULY.

1.-Apply for the recognition of your secondary studies as equivalent to the Spanish Bachillerato (certificate by the Spanish Ministry of Education).

2.- Apply for UNEDasiss accreditation and, where appropriate, take the Specific Competency Exams (PCE) required to obtain a Bachillerato Modality and improve your admission score.

3.- Check: 

• UCM subject weighting 
• UCM admission cut-off grades (Group 1)
• Spanish language requirement (B2)

Although the most recommended option is UNEDasiss accreditation, it is also possible to sit the PAU (university entrance exams): Those who have had their high school diploma recognised as equivalent to the Spanish Bachillerato qualification may also choose to sit the PAU at the Complutense University, provided that the high school closest to their current address is affiliated with the Complutense University for the purposes of taking the PAU.

Students with a non-Spanish speaking country nationality who, furthermore, come from the educational system of a country whose language is not Spanish, must certify a B2 level of Spanish, unless a different level has already been established in the corresponding degree program. DELE, SIELE, Official Language School certificates and certificates issued by the Language Institutes of the Universities of the Madrid Public University District may be submitted directly. Other certificates must be verified and accredited by UNEDasiss.

• Entrance exams (PCE) are in Spanish.
  
• PCE results are valid for three academic years. The UNEDasiss accreditation with Bachillerato Modality is valid for two years from its date of issue.
• Students without an accredited Bachillerato Modality may only compete for remaining places under the conditions established for the extraordinary admission phase.(Group 6 in Grade Average table)
