Applying for UCM posgraduate qualifications

General Information:
The Complutense qualifications are specialized professional studies organized and taught by the University.
  • Master: minimum 500 theoretical-practical hours.
  • Specialist: minimum 300 theoretical-practical hours.
  • Expert: minimum 250 theoretical-practical hours.
Unlike official master degrees, the diploma awarded has neither full academic effects nor validity throughout the national territory.

Deadlines:

3 April 2024 to 31 January 2025* 

*This is the generic deadline. However, the Management of each course can close it before this date, once the course has started or when the number of places offered has been covered.

Remarks: all the documents, with official translation into Spanish language, must be scanned (pdf).


Tuition fees
:
  • Pre-registration: applicants have to pay 40 euros by credit card. This amount only will be refunded if the course is not held for whatever reasons.
  • For the students admitted, the place reservation: is not always required. The course directors will specify whether or not the reservation fee should be paid. It can be seen on the UCM webpage by clicking on the course itself. The reservation fee will be deducted from the total amount of the course.
  • Enrolment: tuition fees can be seen in the course description.
Requirements:
Either official university diploma awarded in Spain or university diploma awarded abroad.

Students may be exempt of these requirements as long as they can prove a remarkable professional experience in issues linked to the activities carried out in the course, with a minimum standard of education enabling the access to the university.

  • National Identity Card/Passport/NIE
  • Online application receipt 
  • Students graduated according to the European Higher Education Area: university diploma. All the documents must be translated into Spanish.

  • The application period may be opened as long as there are availability of places. The availability of places can be seen on the UCM webpage by clicking on the course itself.
  • Applicants may consult whether or not they have been eligible on the internet
  • Fees will be refunded only if the course on offer is not available for any reasons. You can find the application form for refund on UCM webpage. This form must be submitted together with the receipt of payment to the Vicerrectorado de Estudiantes Building:
