Biblioteca Digital Hispánica
Esta colección facilita el acceso a un conjunto de atlas, mapas y planos extraídos del amplio fondo de cartografía que posee la Biblioteca Nacional de España. Entre los mapas antiguos, destaca la Colección Mendoza (mapas realizados por la Familia López, en donde se incluyen los trabajos del gran cartógrafo español Tomás López) y la colección de mapas manuscritos. Este conjunto de documentos cartográficos son una fuente de estudio de la historia, el urbanismo, las obras públicas y la agricultura desde una perspectiva estrictamente geográfica. Actualmente contiene un total de 1666 mapas de España y 527 de América.
