Introduction

 

This research group is composed of geologists and geophysics from 4 Spanish universities and 3 national and international research centers involved in the study of different aspects of the active tectonics. This group started its activity 4 years ago. From this time 6 PhD thesis have been done dealing with the research lines of the group (4 thesis in preparation).

The core of this group is located at the Geodynamic Department of the Universidad Complutense Madrid (Spain) where we investigate more than 20 years ago on multidisciplinary subjects which may be integrated into two main research lines.
