STUDY OF THE POINT OF OPTIMAL APPROACH AND THE RULE OF THE 2/3 - Carlos Blanco

ABSTRACT: It analyzes the veracity of the rule of 2/3, that is usually applied when we want to obtain the maximum depth of the field between two points. It proposes as an alternative, the search of the optimal point of approach that corresponds to the place where the images of the near and distant elements of the scene that we wished to obtain with a clearness that does not surpass the size of the confusion circle. From here it finds the formula that responds to its question by means of an elegant mathematical development.

POINT OF VIEW. A FENOMENOLOGICAL REFLEXION - Fernando Huertas

ABSTRACT: The point of view is closely linked to the perspective of the author, to his position before the reality and his form to see things. The point of view of the photographer, the painter, of the film director, is not limited, therefore, to a physical place but to a specific way to see and to feel. Does the photographer have a different way of looking? Its vision corresponds with the one of the rest of the humans or is in favor conditional of the unconscious and permanent incorporation of the photographic device to its glance? The point of view is deliberate and its selection is an intentional and conscious act. Now, why the photographer chooses this point of view and not another one? what want to say to us or to stimulate? The point of view of the photographer responds to a personal, vital and ideological conception of the world, the reason why the selection of point of view is never gratuitous, nor must be at random.
