Próximo Seminario Harvard-Complutense

Durante los días 21, 22 y 23  de septiembre de 2015 se celebrará en la Harvard Law School (Cambridge, Massachusetts) la XIII edición del Seminario Harvard-Complutense de Derecho Mercantil bajo el título "Financial crisis: a transatlantic perspective". 

El esfuerzo realizado por las instituciones encargadas de su organización - el Departamento de Derecho Mercantil de la UCM, el Real Colegio Complutense en Harvard y el Institute for Global Law and Policy de la Harvard Law School - harán posible una vez que este seminario se celebre.Del mismo modo que es necesario reconocer el generoso patrocinio de las distintas entidades que apoyan la celebración del seminario, en este caso, Banco Santander, Ilustre Colegio Notarial de Madrid, KPMG, BME y CUNEF sin cuya colaboración no podría celebrarse.

Además, nos acompañarán representantes de diversas Instituciones especializadas en las materias objeto de debate como Banco de España a quienes agradecemos también su apoyo.

La dirección del seminario ha sido asumida por el profesor D. Juan Sánchez-Calero Guilarte, correspondiendo la coordinación de los distintos aspectos del mismo a las profesoras Dña. Isabel Fernández Torres y Dña. Mónica Fuentes Naharro. Junto a ellos han colaborado el director del Institute for Global Law and Policy, el profesor David Kennedy, así como el director del Real Colegio Complutense, D. José Manuel Martínez Sierra.

La finalidad de esta XIII edición del Seminario será la de analizar  algunas de las cuestiones más relevantes en la regulación del sistema financiero tanto desde la experiencia europea, especialmente la española, como desde la norteamericana. Así, el seminario se estructura en diversos bloques a través de ponencias y mesas redondas, en las que se han abordarán temas de máxima actualidad tanto en la regulación del sistema financiero como en el derecho de sociedades: Mercado Alternativo Bursátil, la nueva regulación financiera  -especialmente la bancaria- surgida de la crisis, la financiación de las empresas en crisis así como las últimas reformas del derecho societario.
